Youth Leadership Development

During this past year, we’ve had the honor and privilege of bringing on four amazing interns. What started as a partnership with the local Fort Vancouver MECHA students soon led to much more! Our founding mission to help Latino youth succeed is being actualized as we continue to leverage these young mentors to have a greater impact on their community while taking control of their futures. LLNW Interns work alongside trusted community professionals and experts in their field to bring students everything they need to know or are curious about mental health, behavioral health, and community resources. Our Interns co-create and lead each session, ensuring that our empowered youth voices are recognized every step of the way.

Our interns have partnered with local professionals and mental health experts to bring you the De Orugas a Mariposas workshops! This student-created and led program brings you everything you want and need to know about self-care, generational trauma, addiction, and more!
