With immense gratitude to Director Jeff Santos and the generous support from Providence St. Joseph, we are absolutely thrilled to unveil our new mini-documentary, shining a spotlight on our incredible organization and the amazing individuals who make our mission a reality!

The St. Joseph Community Partnership Fund is driven by the vision of creating healthier communities through equity and justice. We firmly believe that by bringing together passionate leaders and empowering their initiatives to uplift lives, we can pave the way for a stronger and more equitable future for everyone.

2011

Where it all began!

In 2011 the Clark County Latino Youth Leadership Conference was established as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit!

2012 to 2013

The Conference Expands!

The conference grows rapidly to serve over 200 students in schools in Evergreen and Vancouver School Districts!

2014

CCLYLC Established roots!

Partnership with Fort Vancouver High School started to flourish and CCLYC (at the time) supported the development of the Fort MECHA group

2015

Partnerships Grow!

Planning begins for a new program – a Parent Leadership Institute to support parent navigation, connection, and advocacy within local schools for Latino parents - in partnership with WSU Vancouver.

2016

Established Parent Leadership Institute!

Parent Leadership Institute was launched with 3 cohorts, serving 60 families. It was during this time, with the expansion of our partnerships and programs, we were able to incorporate job shadowing, internships, enrichment activities, and community service.

2017

CCLYC Continues to Expand!

The annual youth conference grows to more than 400 students with participation from nearly all school districts in the region!

Stem and Art Summer enrichment activities are established in partnership with Mt. St. Helens, and Rodolfo Serna!

2018

The Conference Outgrows Clark College!

The Clark County Latino Youth Leadership Conference moved to the WSU-Vancouver campus!

2019

Every Shade Count Census Campaign!

Along with local Census work, CCLYC was the lead organization to create the 2020 Census campaign. “Every Shade Counts” in collaboration with LULAC SW WA, NAACP, Latino Community Resource Group, and One America.

2020

COVID Compassion and Safety for All campaign!

As a response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Compassion and Safety for ALL Campaign, and Charlas Facebook lives were established in partnership with LULAC SW WA, Latino Community Resource Group, Fourth Plain Forward, and NAACP.

In March of 2020, CCLYC joined with LULAC, LCRG, and NAACP to form the rapid response team addressing unmet needs of undocumented and mixed status families who did not qualify for CAREs funds or resources.

2021

10th Anniversary!

For our 10th anniversary, we rebranded from Clark County Latino Youth Conference to become Latino Leadership Northwest!

During this time, we officially onboarded the Mariposa Interns, and the Orugas a Mariposa Youth Behavioral Health program was born!

2022

Established Youth Health Focus

LLNW onboarded our youngest Mariposa and Youth program coordinator!

WYSHIIN DOH Funding the Respect Protect, Connect, Family Leadership Institute Pilot

A partnership begins with Welcome Home Health to support the BHConnect project that supports youth behavioral health needs across Washington state.

2023

Big Changes!

The LLNW Board is established, and gets to work!

We Move into our office space at Rooted School Vancouver!

We host our biggest conference yet! 500 + Students, Volunteers, Presenters, Exhibitors, and Community Members!
