Youth Advocacy
At Latino Leadership Northwest, our Civic Engagement and Youth Advocacy programs empower young people to become active participants in shaping their communities. Through interactive workshops, leadership training, and hands-on projects, we equip youth with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate local government, advocate for change, and make meaningful contributions. These programs inspire civic responsibility and foster a sense of agency, enabling youth to take the lead in addressing community challenges.
By emphasizing inclusivity and cultural pride, we ensure participants feel seen, valued, and supported in their advocacy journey. Our approach cultivates informed, confident leaders ready to engage in democratic processes, build collaborative networks, and create a more equitable future for all.

Supporting the growth of tomorrow's leaders, one student at a time.
Empowering Future Leaders through MEChA and Latino Student Leadership
Latino Leadership Northwest is committed to empowering high school students involved in MEChA and Latinx student groups in SW Washington by fostering leadership development and creating environments where students feel empowered. We offer a range of opportunities for students to engage in activities such as workshops, surveys, events, programs, focus groups, and summer activities.
As the community liaison, LLNW bridges the gap between students and the broader community, connecting them with businesses, organizations, and community leaders. Our advisors also support students with important academic and career documents, including letters of recommendation, scholarship essays, personal statements, and college application essays. Through these efforts, we aim to help students grow as leaders, while providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
