Being an intern for Latino Leadership Northwest has been an exciting journey! When I first started seeing all the amazing things this organization has done for our community, I knew I wanted to be a part of their team. Through my time as an intern I have had the pleasure of helping develop the Respect, Protect, Connect workshop. I have also participated in various community events, getting to connect with the people of Clark County. My absolute favorite memory is developing and presenting our workshop “The Missing Link: Building your LinkedIn as a Young Professional” at our annual Clark County Latino Youth Conference. Being an intern has allowed me to develop my leadership skills, all while advocating, serving, and uplifting my community. I am so grateful to be an intern for LLNW, and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish in the future!"
